As for how other government entities operate with it - QLD already runs its own power plants... cant say that it is all doom and gloom. Reality is that the generation from SEC will be operated with a RoI target price per Mw... government entities will be on PPAs at the lowest price they can get them - possibly not even from the SEC...
more generation should benefit all consumers of the NEM - FF generation under private ownership on a broken NEM market has seen huge profits go to the companies that have no intention to lower their cost of generation.
