vicious attack and personal abuse

I have never seen the like of what John Howard has been subjected to over the years with regard to unrelenting personal attack by the most vicious, spiteful, nasty, and ignorant people.

Much of it is well alive and thriving on sites such as this.

He must be doing something right to have survived - and thrived - from 1996 until now!!

DO any of you ever give him one shred of praise - or admiration or acknowledgement for his hard work ethic, and the results he and his team have acheived.

No - it's just knock - knock - knock!

It;s a deliberate campaign of personal hate and ridiculke. And it's ugly Like the people who perpetrate it.

Like the US Presidency - there's a lot of pomp and circumstance in such a position - although our PM is not a world leader into the bargain.

And much of your personal life is sacrificed for the job.


Who in their right mind would really WANT these jobs, and all the stress which goes with it. Only the very dedicated - and you have to give Howard that - he is extremely dedicated. And not in it for the self-angrandisement. Unlike some "strutters" of recent past!!

It is despicable that he has to endure such vitriol.
A very well-engineered regime of hatred aimed right at him. By very small minded, nasty, people.
