I would admire him more if he had not used the Tampa amd 'children overboard' to get re-elected, had not used David Hicks as a political prisoner, had not allowed Andrews to try and make political mileage out of Dr Haneef, had not promised to use his Senate majority with caution and then introduced the most blatant employer favouring IR laws in the western world and finally allowed Ruddock and Vanstone to run the Immigration Dept in a lawless manner.
