Great post Tony, a good read and what is said is right !!!
I work for one of the service companies and agree entirely. Whilst not involved in the shale / fracking side, offshore activities are in massive decline with new build projects being delayed and even cancelled mid construction.
We have all heard this and hence the great discounts being offered by drilling companies to keep their rigs working......aka Athena. Perfect timing for our JV .
Like all things business, this is cyclical and for us to be in the development stage of the project, in partnership with cashed up players in what could be as stated a massive new oil province, the timing couldn't be better.
The question is......can FAR hang in for the journey ??? I really do hope so . If not, a respectable take over price will do me .......Either way , I still believe we are on a winner here and am accumulating still when possible.
