I own a small transport company.
When you lose a contract you cant carry staff and truck costs.
You cant carry the expense for a week let alone a month, 6 months or a year.
Larger companies may have deeper pockets but if they are heavily in debt the situation compounds quickly.
If you let staff / contractors go it is very difficult to get them back.
The Oil industry is in turmoil and the carnage being wrought is very significant.
The companies that survive will make out like bandits.
I hope Far is one of them.
