We have to remember Yaeger is not JC or the messiah, he may have great credentials but you're only as good as your last performance. So it pays not to be starry eyed about him because of who he is (I've learned that from experience). Since making his prediction the trend has gone the other way SP-wise and production-wise, so 6 months in he has a lot to do to lift performance to match his prediction. Each month that passes where we dont see an improvement makes it just that much less likely in the remaining months.
