Speaking through your backside mate.I live in Bendigo and have for 35 years.Great town.crime and drugs -yes but name me a town that isn't gripped by the ice epidemic.
It is a beautiful old gold mining city with great architecture,lovely streetscapes,good shopping,great bars and restaurants.We had White Night here last Saturday.The middle of town was chock full of families having a wonderful night and not a hint of trouble.My kids were born and raised here and I couldn't have been happier with their educational,sporting and social opportunities.I don't where you live but it is obviously not Bendigo
