Last week it was an audience with a state premier, this week with the Federal Energy Minister. MO is certainly drawing some attention from the people who make the big decisions.
"Dr Ottaviano unveiled a 2.6MWh battery at Carnegie's Belmont facility in Perth's eastern suburbs that is the largest battery storage system to be assembled in Australia. After testing it will be sent to CSIRO's Square Kilometre Array telescope project near Murchison where it will be installed alongside the 2.6MW solar plant and about 2MW of diesel generators to provide a secure off-grid energy supply.
Energy minister Josh Frydenberg was on hand for the unveiling and said the Square Kilometre Array project was "at the cutting edge of a wave of innovation in the renewable energy space".
