It's been reported extensively in the media of late that Dan ( after 8 years at the helm) has to cut staff extensively in the bloated ( since he came to power ) public service due to a massive state debt problem . Also today it was reported that he will put the rail link to the Airport and the fast rail to Geelong on hold ( means he has no money to pay for them ) . One wonders if he will take the same attitude to the Chinese built and over budget road works ! Eventually if you keep spending money that is not yours you will have to PAY the DEBT Back - even people with little financial understanding know that . I also have contacts that advise that at least some of the cities in Victoria that are to share the unning of the Commonwaelth games in 2026 are without funds to do so. Who would want to take over running Victoria after the the disclosure that they have to largest debt in the country ?
