Another weird anomaly which mostly affected grey nomads and families in caravans on holidays was the blocking of the road borders between us and SA & NSW meaning no one could enter VIC by road for almost 6 months from July to Christmas. If not for the generosity of businesses in places like Moama Albury Mulwala etc. they would've starved.
Desperate families stuck on the NSW side of the Murray for 6 months were told to drive and park up in Sydney then fly to Melbourne, or rot in hell, by Sutton and Andrews even though they didn't have Covid or symptoms.
Premiers all around Oz treated citizens like mushrooms and starved some of their own people simply to be power crazed jerks. Victoria treated it's citizens like vermin even when VIC had by far the highest Covid infections and deaths of any State.
