It's a very good scheme to encourage recycling and it has run in many other states for years...
I actually think it is REALLY good for the homeless population or those running a fine line with cost of living - they can promote recycling by taking the bottles back to the depot that others can't & getting a bit of money ...
I'm greedy though & while not in need of the money i strongly encouraging recycling and people seperating recyclables from waste .....
i get a kick out of saving up exaclty enough botttles in the shed to return to the depot and then go and "buy" a "free" carton of beer ...... and boy do they taste better
