This morning Crime Statistics Agency Victoria announced a 9.1% increase in crime over the last year and the worst rate in a decade. The biggest increase was in youth crime out of control and the highest rate since 2010. Victoria Police processed 7380 child offenders a combined 23,236 times in the last 12 months, an increase of more than 20 per cent from last year.
The government is intending to lift the age of criminal responsibility from 10 years to 12 years of age. That should goi down a treat with victims of youth crime especially those whose homes have been invaded by youths with weapons in hand.
This afetrnoon it was revealed that the Metro Tunnel Project is another $1 billion over budget and the government has changed the contract and will share further cost blowouts on a 50/50 basis plus the government is on the hook for 100% of the costs to rectify magnetic interefence with equoipment in nearby hospitals. The government ignore previous warnings on the electromagnetivc interference well before construction started.
So now we have a cost sharing Metrol Tunnel Project contract with no end in sight.
Officially Victoria is now an ungoverned state. The Vic Labor government is officially an amateur hour act.
Let's see what the North East Link looks like in 12 months time. Seems like Grand Final week is when the government tries to throw out its trash. Last year Andrews threw himself out.
And you know what, the premier Jacinta Allan is nowhere to be seen. Weak as piss.
