Until fairly recently I owned a house on the Mornington Peninsula. Padua Catholic College is close to a busy road here .It has taken OVER A YEAR to install a pedestrian crossing.
Sometimes there were dozens of people on site, 3 or 4 holding signs, most with hands on hips watching as a backhoe or bobcat levelled.
This small project across two sets of dual carriageway would have cost tens of millions. Zero bang for buck.
