I would have to agree that Lockdowns in VIC are really the only safe answer for a Covid outbreak. Their simplistic sledgehammer option is their only option.

The simple reason for this, as a number of posters have pointed out is that the VIC Gov & VIC Health simply do not have the capacity, logistical ability, nor mentality to move fast enough to combat an outbreak.

Lazy, complacent and unmotivated comes to mind with the VIC public service which has been cultivated by VIC ALP over a number of years.
