Rich people don’t pay a lot of tax. Middle income do. Rich people can make use of any legit ways to pay less tax like negative gearing, luxury cars depreciation claim, equipments claim, etc... they use awesome accountants too & often liaise a lot with the gov.
Sure some rich people don’t make it half way, but most who do make it, they are on the top of food chain & social class buying Ferrari & Hawthorn houses.
