And given that your reply implies that you too do not actually know anyone who has this germ then it makes even more sense. You can paint me as 'insensitive' if you like but at least I'm trying hard not to be brainless and gullible. As I keep saying, show me some first hand evidence and I might change my mind. I fully expect that there must be SOME people out there suffering with this thing but nowhere near the numbers being used to justify the destruction.
