Australia is in recession and increasingly isolated from the rest of the world. Our population has decades of (success) obedience to big government. However, if the government can't or won't balance wealth distribution and social security, then we too will have increasing amounts of social unrest.
The younger population needs access to business capital to ensure we don't follow the USA path.
Remaining city centric will not help control the virus. We needs to expand business investment. Less apartment towers and more medium sized factories.
