Yet another silly post - how reliable is the weather? - would you rather go under the surgeons scalpel with a turbine powered by coal or gas keeping the power on - or rely on a wind turbine or solar panels? Its about availability - Baseload power whenever you need it - not when the bloody weather is right or the battery charged. Generation v Storage - and you can't store it till you've generated it FFS!
