The SP isn't where it is due to shorting, politics, people who haven't drunk the kool aid asking uncomfortable questions on a forum, or any of that.
The SP is where it is due to Carnegie. The steady drift south is just what we saw last year before they got a completely undeserved bump around the rename. They don't need to pull their thumb out, they need to withdraw their entire forearm.
