    I wish I had your skills and patience to trawl the web and post bits and pieces of your findings here. I also wish I had the skills to decipher some of it as I struggle to find the information amongst the words.

    On the benefit of the FiT my guess is it's better than nothing but, like Bernard, I don't see it as a gamechanger.

    If buying gas for a Bluegen was the only cost then there's a good case for having one. 8c/kWhr for gas is better than 24c for grid electricity. How much of the 16c saving we will have to forego in purchase of the unit and maintenance over the term of a contract is still unknown.

    I suspect, with no proof whatsoever to back this up, there won't be much at all, if any. I do recall something from CFU, a survey or statement, suggesting a yearly contract of many hundreds of dollars to install and service a Bluegen. The selling point, imo, will remain the units low emissions/kW of electricity and reduced (hopefully) spending required on the existing grid.
