Even if only 10% of the Designated Areas proves to be suitable for the UCG process, the target coal resource
for a drilling program would be of the order of one billion tonnes with a potential gas production energy content of about five thousand Petajoules, or sufficient energy to supply a 1000MW power station for 100 years.
