Furpo2; you apparently missed my comment about the Latrobe Valley's circular drainage basin. Of course even the first white explorer in Gipps Land, Strzelecki; knew that there was a mountain range between Wilson's Promontory and The Great Dividing Range - it's named after him! As for Mt Tassie and the Tarra Bulga NP; I've run up and down the former for marathon training and on many occasions have had the privilege of visiting the NP - I can assure you, they both exist.

Australia's count of 20+ breeches of hotel quarantine does indeed included five from Victoria. Every other state has also experienced such failures and then there's NSW and the Ruby Princess fiasco.

What all of them have in common is Morrison's abdication of the federal government's constitutional responsibility for quarantine - states only became involved because Morrison refused to close Australia's borders for seven weeks after banning travel with China and after he had completely s@#$%^& up Australia's initial efforts to keep Covid19 out of the country! Morrison wanted to flood Australia with travellers from Covid19 ravaged countries until state Premiers said "NO more!".
