IMO it will take a generation for EVs to replace ICEs because of
price , battery limits and charging times. Even so transport generally
only accounts for 15% odd of greenhouse gas emissions and cars
are only a fraction of that.
The biggest CO2 polluters in Aus are electricity generators & farming
