Well muddy you are trying pretty hard to make them look bad. A Tesla M3 SR+ weighs 1611kg, the SR Model S tips the scales at 2090kg and Hyundai Ioniq is 1527kg. Granted they are still heavier than an equivalent ICE model but only by a few hundred kg There is no such thing as a Tesla E.
The important thing is that in terms of efficiency any EV is streets ahead of a similar ICE vehicle and like it or not in 10 years time you will struggle to find a new ICE car for sale anywhere. The air in cities will be much cleaner and our hospitals will have far less breathing difficulties and lung disorders to deal with.
The sooner the world stops burning hydrocarbons the better for all concerned.
