I have had a demo drive . they are about $47K and the cheapest EV in Aus at present
    albeit Chinese.
Its ICE equivalent which I have also driven is $29K
My local dealer is selling 40 ICE MGs for every EV.

According to the salespeople, most buyers are skeptical about the battery
, depreciation and the extra insurance. They are having some success with lease deals
    with guaranteed buy back prices.

I guess the operating lease which guarantees the cost of ownership over 3 or 4 years
is the way to go in order to overcome buyer skepticism, IMO.

The power is amazing but I guess for a metro car , its not that necessary.
