IMO the 2.5c/klm one size fits all is not the best way
about it , IMO, with respect to user pays for road wear & tear.
Take for example a small 2 seater EV with a GVM of say 800 Kgs
vs Ford's proposed F150 EV dual cab truck with a GVM of say 3500 kgs.
IMO, the road user levy should not be the same on both vehicles.
The fuel excise was a more proportional scheme, IMO, even though
diesels were getting an advantage due to better fuel efficiency
vs petrol.
