Good news for hepC sufferers.However there is still a long way to go for a magic bullet.Its almost ironic that there has been limited improvement in treatment of this disease for decades and now sufferers will be offered multiple options for treatment.
Where does this leave BIT225?
Where they have always been,as a way to enhance the effectiveness of the front line treatments by eliminating the underlying reservoir of the infection.This would add to the value of any of the new range of drugs.Remember we are not talking about aspirin here but the cutting edge of viral treatments with multiple variables and outcomes.
HCV is just the entree here,bring on the HIV results for the main.
