Well, ATC got enough from options exercised to keep the light son. They need to get to the next hurdle to generate some excitement and or a share price rise.
I endeavour to be a rational investor with an investment portfolio. I have the opportunity, to say, buy a reasonably advanced REE project with some revenue and as long a development history as ATC, where the share price has fallen sharply e.g. ASM+. I'm not taking funds out of ATC to fund it, as I have cash*, but the issue is staring me in the face very day.
All IMVHO.
+ Some people are shorting it.
* (I called the Nasdaq thrashing right).
