I like to just think of EV as a takeover price taking into consideration future production potential. Whether hartleys valued this for PEN when they reach peak production (i.e lance + karoo), I'm not too sure.
Its a trivial figure in my opinion that can be referred to if a takeover were to be initiated, to determine a fair price.
Or at least thats my understanding of EV :)
