If you ever wondered how crazy the stock market is, today was a good example. At one stage we were down 418 points which represented over 7% fall. We finished up 219 points . A rise of over 4%. That represents a turnaround of over 11% in one day.

For those that don't think the market is manipulated think again.

With an hour to go before todays close the Dow futures was down 650 points . It's now up 735 points as I type this .

Has there been an announcement that changes anything from this morning's sell off. I haven't seen anything to suggest why we would have such a massive change of sentiment. Maybe the market liked the fact that the Grand Prix was officially cancelled late morning in Melbourne.
