I know I tend to defend the company more than others, but give them a break! Most suits wouldn't even bother going out there.
They're trying to prove they're not bull crapping investors. "Look we have a physical presence out here with real samples I can touch with my hands".
I can't wait until Lady Penelope turns up though.
In different places where I have worked, if management believes in the company and is willing to even talk to people on the ground, they're going to do a good job even if they aren't perfect.
