Mate, you've been spot-on. Even when presented with hard evidence, there are those who will reject it outright or stick their head in the sand. These people provide excellent exit liquidity.
If I was the new CEO of CAN, who just inherited a failed S3 trial and operations that have reverse economies-of-scale I would be seriously considering resigning. He's only a month in, it's not too late to eject and leave all the blame squarely at the feet of previous mgmt. The longer he stays, the more that will come to rest on his shoulders.
