it’s not uncommon for long halts and even suspensions if it’s something of large value to the market, this is what happened when CZR had an offer on their iron ore project, the offer was just over $100m and it was done in this order to allow the market time to digest the information when it was provided to the market and kept a lid on any market speculative trading in the meantime
