I'll wait for the 'experts' to comment on this, although among the points I note is that I wonder if the 'how many dollars of in-situ gold value does 1 dollar of exploration expenditure yield?' whether these figures are adjusted for inflation. The figures quoted on this presentation at the gold forum in December/September were -

1950-60: 43x
1960-70: 105x
1970-80: 83x
1980-90: 57x
1990-2000: 23x
2000-2010: 11x

Would these figures be based on an average grade? The point of the paper is that grades are falling as well as new finds whilst costs are increasing.

So.....where does that leave Focus if looked at from this perspective?

I also don't know if this has been discussed before. One thing I do know though is that it is possible to put up a number of diagrams and statistics to reach a particular point of view to support a presenter's case. This is not a judgement on the quality of the presenter. It is presenting what seem to be some valid points, imo. Then again, I don't know much and hence my 'leave it to the experts'.....!!!!!!
