    Otherwise it is dearer than the older alternatives.

    They also say they can remove the top half for inspection whilst refueling takes place, that would indicate that they could at least recover the top half quite easily if they wanted to move it to another location, I reckon they may even be able to move the whole unit if required once the UNF has been removed, this would be of great advantage if they wanted to use the reactor again at another location once lets say an ore body ran out at the remote location, it would be just too expensive I believe if they were able to only be used once, although the production of Hydrogen to run vehicles and desalination would also help and so would process heat, for community heating in cold climes be really useful as well you would think?

    Running diesel generators at remote locations is not a cheap prospect and doesn't do a lot of what an SMR can, let alone compete on zero carbon levels.
