spot on mad.. im one of the newly comverted only to be turned completely off it.. i'm not going to bother with the sport unless they alter the refing. we had it hard the whole tournament but the last decision is impossible to get over.
With penalties inside the square which will result in those gift wrapped place kicks they could easily refer them to a video ref without slowing down the game much.
red/yellow cards, possibly you could defer all decisions about the severity of an illegal tackle to a third umpire. The on field ref just calls which way the penalty goes and they play on.. the vid ref looks at it, if its a cardable offence the onfield ref is notified and the card is issued next time thier is a break in play.. wouldnt slow the game down at all..
