Had a flick through the AVB website after looking at the latest analyst reports. I notice some new videos in the careers section and it is quite apparent that there is a lot of pride and effort that goes on behind the scenes to ensure we have a locally employed and engaged workforce. So what? Well, you can guarantee that when it comes time for Ministers and bureaucrats, local mayors and landowners to sign off on future mining licences, reg approvals and the like, the successful track record of AVB in employing locals and having a strong safety, environmental and community engagement record won't go unnoticed. As an investor, I like to see the local employees pride in their jobs.
