Darryle says "Lets set up a fund for you" (to retire to the UK)

We don't need charity from refugee haters. Due to the
recession in the UK and Ireland, rural houses are a lot
cheaper than (like-for-like) our large Canberra home
that we own in fee simple (no debt on it or contents).

We could sell that and have cash left over for migration
and UK or Irish rural house + land taxes, etc. Plus we
have more than adequate incomes from a lifetime
of hard work, saving like lunatics and investing.

If Abbott is elected and Work Choices is disinterred
(and re-branded as Labour Market Reform) it may
be wise to migrate before Abbott's recession
makes Australia a very dour place to be.

But thanks for the encouragement. We love
adventure and need an exciting new project.
