View from polled investment anaylysts, page-40

Probably would have stayed well clear of GXL if I hadn't became the first owner of a dog a few years ago. Now I wonder if they are on to a good thing. It seems like people are beginning, in greater numbers, to view their pet quite differently than when I grew up. I probably would have agreed pet products were discretionary, but as I have become more greatly immersed in 'pet' culture where people view their pet as 'part of the family' I might have to change that opinion. I have small sample size but people are spending a lot more money on their pets nowadays and there is potential that spending will grow quite a bit in the future.

I don't know if GXL is expensive or not as I have just started my research but on first glance it doesn't look that bad.
