I have found the best investments are those like CCP I bought in soon after the crises but not too early and my average is around $5.00. This is one of a very few shares that I have not had to sell and thereby share the value with the ATO. They may not be shooting stars or tenbaggers - they just keep paying dividends and slowly accrue value. This is a very small number of shares in my portfolio. They are SOL, BKW , CCP , SFC and EVT. Strangely EVT I have thought is overvalued but as my average is around $4.00 the net receipt after CGT is around my valuation so have left it. The others they have kept growing.
I am looking for more like these as I think that's why ARG commands a premium because so few really sell just seeing the value slowly accumulate and the dividends rising over time.
