Hi All
With Coalspur now having over 1.2 bill tonnes on the Vista project I would be interested in others' views on what they believe will be the economics of the upcoming pre-feasibility results which I anticipate will be released next week.
For what it is worth, given the upgrade in resources, my guess is we may be looking at ramping to somewhere around 12 million tonnes saleable coal over a 25 year mine life with FOB costs of approx US $40-43 per tonne. By my reckoning this will make Vista the largest and lowest FOB cost export thermal coal mine in US/Canada and the above economics would give Vista a NPV of approx $2.5 billion give or take. Then the research should flow.
Interested to hear what others are expecting.
Regards
Danash
