With NPAT of $2.8 to 3.2M, it implies current valuation of P/E of 16 to 14. I am glad CMP's performance matches its share price. Nothing crazy about valuation. It's a relatively safe investment, in time of turbulent market.
I think spin-off is less likely, because CMP sees a lot of unlocked value in DWP/Neuroscan. With support of AUS government, it would be embarrassing to sell the division cheap.
I think CMP is looking for strategic partnership in both divisions, which are wonderful business/hidden champions.
