Maybe that is why nothing has been announced about Galoc North yet, because the JV is looking at ways to do both and save on costs? Incidentally I have noticed some interesting trading lately where some of the large sell orders have been bypassed, with orders behind them in the queue being snapped up instead. That says to me someone is accumulating while keeping the SP down.
Having said all that, I can't see any major spike in the price on the horizon no matter what the news - too many shares sitting out there, even with the 20% holding of the Thai.
Which is a shame because I would love to see it get back to 4c so I can walk away with valuable lessons learned!!!
