Way back in 2000 Australia hosted the best games ever.
No controversy, an awesome opening and closing ceremony and a concentration on sports.
I can't see why political and social agendas have to be brought into the mix. This takes away much of the limelight which should be given to the athletes who have worked so hard to achieve their Olympic aspirations.
I'm tired of those who want to ram their woke viewpoints down my throat (pun intended).
I believe everybody can have their own viewpoints and orientations. I simply don't care. It should, however, be appropriate to the time place and audience.
In this case it was a big fail.
