SMH has an article on it this morning, the ceremony director was a gay Jewish man named Thomas Jolly. Had a feeling he/she/they wouldn't be a Christian or a Muslim, can only guess the background of those defending it as something exciting and amazing. You wouldn't have to be a Christian to find the whole thing stupid and vile, I'd imagine even some gay people were turned off by the clown show.

IOC removing it from youtube and it's getting removed from X, blowback big time and will effect viewing numbers significantly. Some people just can't help themselves.
