Thanks Treed. That sounds like a good ball park to work with - about 4 times which would bring the treatment cost down to $40-$50k. In the US this would equate to just 5 days in ICU so very palatable for the insurers. Getting ahead of myself here, but if it also alleviates lung damage (from ventilators) this would be an additional saving. How much does it cost to make a treatment dose?
I can see the need for some charitable subsidisation in poorer countries - like India, Indonesia etc but if this works, there should be plenty of fat in the system to allow this to happen.
