Hindsight is what you use to recognise good foresight .......
This isn’t the first time that I have seen management of company’s buy what I consider good assets but defer payment only to make shareholders pay up for the asset at a much lower share price due to optimistic views on a commodity price.
It’s easy make that gamble when it’s other people’s money on the line......
What I’m learning in general is if there was lots of short term upside in an asset like alligator river it wouldn’t be for sale, so when an opportunity like this comes along experience management will think long term and position themselves to be able hold the great asset through any capitulation with minimal dilution and be in a strong position to capitalise once the market eventually turns.
My opinion only, hope some upward movement in the uranium price can turn this company around.......
