The CEO of Bolloré Group was received in audience by the President of the Republic of Cameroon, Monday, May 14, 2012 at Unity Palace. The menu talks, the container terminal development in Douala, the deep water port of Kribi and development activities of the railway company CAMRAIL.
Vincent Bollore is considering extending the railway line, the Transcameroonian, to other countries in the subregion of Central Africa. A fast connection between Yaounde and Douala by railcar within 12 months and development of the proposed Photovoltaic, renewable energy.
Referring to his interest in Cameroon, the French manufacturer said the country's stability and quality of its human resources. Vincent Bollore and says that he had known that moments of joy in Cameroon.
Its Group which was established 190 years ago is now in Cameroon for 50 years and employs 7,000 people. A figure it intends to bring to 10,000 the next 5 to 7 years.
