I did YC. I'll admit it has changed my outlook but I am still concerned about his cost models.
He used next generation sciences (I assume unproven beyond "test" runs) to justify low costs I have yet to read about elsewhere.
You will have noticed that he did not endorse corn/sugar conversion using current technology.
I leave you with the question: Why is "future green" technology only ever compared with 50yr old nuclear technology? Where's the logic that the only technology that can't progress is nuclear?
