    Yes Paddy Hanrahan but ....

    You can only turn a solid form of energy into liquid form if it has a carbon backbone. Nuclear energy is not about carbon nor does it produce carbon substrates. So the problem for nuclear accessing the liquid energy market is still the massive global infrastructure project that would be required with producing affordable hybrids or affordable hydrogen fueled cars.

    Why go up that path if the infrastructure already exists? Bearing in mind metals are not as cheap as what they used to be! In a year's time they could be double too.
